September 2018 – What’s Kickin’ in Katy


Another school year has started, and our days will be filled with homework, after school activities, volleyball, football and band practice. There’s always something new kickin’ in Katy, so check out some of the following events for some early fall fun.

September 1st

Tai Chi

Salad-in-a-Jar Event

Get tips on how to eat healthy all week long by preparing delicious and diverse salads in mason jars and other sealed containers. Join other salad lovers in learning how to make new and interesting salads and commit to healthy eating habits. Registration is required so that participants can learn what to bring each week. Harvey’s Heroes

Free SAT Practice-Test Session

10:30 am – 3 pm

A representative from Princeton Review will administer a practice test to college-bound students in grades 9 through 12. This practice test will prepare students for the actual SAT test. 911 Remembrance Day
On this solemn patriotic day, make the time to serve your community and remember those lost on 9/11.


September 20th

Cinema Under The Stars
