This three-day annual festival pays tribute to our Armed Forces and raises funds to build specially-adapted homes for veterans who have sustained life-alteringinjuries while serving our country. In addition to a Sporting Clays Tournament, the festival includes battle reenactments, helicopter rides, presentations to honor veterans, a flag retirement ceremony, military equipment displays, war dogs, cook teams and much more.
Homes for Our Troops is a national non-profit that’s mission is to build the specially-adapted homes for veterans at no cost to the veteran and relies on private donations, receiving no government funding at all. This year’s event raised $750,000 to be donated to the non-profit group that helps rebuild lives by providing a home for veterans and their families

Marine Lt. General John Sattler (Retired) introduced the veterans who were recipients of homes from Homes for Our Troops. They included (but not all pictured): Austin Burchard (Lutz, Florida), Nicholas McCoy (Boerne, Texas), Neil Frustaglio (Marion, Texas), Eric Edmundson (New Bern, North Carolina), Latseen Benson, (Elizabeth, Colorado), Brett Wolf (Weatherford, Texas), Daniel Robles (San Antonio, Texas), Craig Andrade (Marion, Texas), KadeHinkhouse, (Elizabeth,Colorado),BryantJacobs(Herriman,Utah),ShawnMonroe,(SantaFe,Texas), Joseph Smith (Thomasville, North Carolina) Nicholas Orchowski (Commerce City, Colorado), Jose “Daniel” Gasca (El Paso, Texas), and Chase Matthews (Eddyville, Kentucky).
